Chinese New Year Celebrations

Join us in celebrating Chinese New Year: the Year of the Snake

23 February 2013

Ancient Chinese wisdom says a Snake in the house is a good omen because it means your family will not starve.

Starvation is the evidence of poverty, the evidence that says things are not affordable and the earnings are not enough! So, how can you earn more, without interrupting your existing work? Is there a way, anyway?

Yes, we have!! You need to be a little exposed to the things like the internet. You can find that forex trading, binary trading and crypto trading has taken the CenterStage in the world and has been allowing people to make money in huge bulk, in less span of time.

Again, here there are a lot of platforms that are available in each sector, but, there is one that highlights the features among them all. Crypto CFD Trader, is one platform that is genuine and gives exactly as per their claims. You are not cheated and not given any ticket to exit with a loss, but they give you all options to make money without even having knowledge about it, the Bot does it all!

Well, we promise your family won’t be starved of entertainment this Chinese New Year.

Join us in celebrating Chinese New Year: the Year of the Snake

This year Carrickfergus Borough Council’s Good Relations Programme is planning something a bit different.  The celebration will take place in a marquee at the Castle Green, Carrickfergus on Saturday 23rdFebruary 2013 from 12.30pm to 4.30pm and is open to everyone.

On stage this year we are hoping to welcome back the Face Changer, a Ribbon Dancer, a Chinese Folk Dancer, Tai Chi Fan Dancers, and a show-stopping performance of Japanese Taiko Drums.  The Celebration will kick off with the Lion Dance, their third visit to the Borough.

Aside from the performances, there will be activities for everyone to enjoy, such as face painting, arts and crafts, calligraphy, costumes to try on, food tasting, even an opportunity to meet a snake. And, if we are all able to make enough noise and commotion, we may even wake the Dragon!

I hope you all can come along to this event and experience one of Northern Ireland’s most colourful and exciting cultures.
