Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Alderman Billy Ashe) presenting a cheque to Sally McAuley for representing the Borough at the International Outdoors Bowls Series in Worthing England. A Sport Grant Award of £70 was awarded to the individual.

Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Ald Billy Ashe) presenting a cheque to Emma Kennedy for representing the Borough at the International Gymnastic Celtic Cup competition in Larkhall Glasgow. A Sport Grant Award of £150 was awarded to the individual.

Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Ald Billy Ashe) presenting a cheque to Louise Crawford from Kasei Judo Club for an equipment grant towards the purchase of essential equipment for the club. A Sport Grant Award of £70 was awarded to the club.

A Sport Grant Award of £400 was awarded to the club.

A Sport Grant Award of £200 was awarded to the club.

Local girl Emma Murray received a Sports Grant in April 2010 for Sports Training for the NI Ladies U19

Barn United U14 team were awarded a Sports Grant for Excellence which will assist the team to travel to Ayr, Scotland to participate in the National Youth Tournament.

Mark Atkinson (centre right) and Derek McMurdy (centre left) from the Special Olympics Team in Carrickfergus received a Sports Grant for Excellent. Both Mark & Derek have been selected to represent Special Olympics NI at the International Special Olymics Games in Geneva, Switzerland.
