Sports Development Grant Awards
The Sports Development team at Carrickfergus Borough Council prides itself with assisting aspiring sports teams and individuals to meet their goals through various grants for Excellence, New Club, Sports Training, Club Equipment, Sport Events & Sports Coaching. Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Cllr Billy Ashe) presenting a cheque to Philip Mannis, June McRoberts and Suzanne Campbell from Carrickfergus Company of Archers Club for a New Club Grant. A Sport Grant Award of £200 was awarded to the club. | ![]() |
Chairman of the Leisure & Sports Development Sub Committee (Cllr Billy Ashe) presenting cheques for Excellence to Gary Swann (Coach), Chris Swann and Ben Gardner from Carrick Rangers for completing in the National Youth Football Tournament in Scotland (Ayr), Nathan Davidson for attendance at the Interprovincial Junior & Youth “Sea Fishing” Championship in Tralee, Ireland and Campbell Baird for his attendance at the Commonwealth International Fly Fishing Championship in Tasmania.
