How to get there

Carrickfergus is that most desirable of visitor destinations - a compact historical town that is packed full of things to see and do, most of which can be reached easily on foot. And with over 1000 years of history under its belt, Carrickfergus has lots to reveal.
Centrally located between the two airports and seaports of Northern Ireland, Carrickfergus can easily be reached within 30 minutes of arriving in Northern Ireland. There are excellent road networks leading into Carrickfergus and superb bus and train networks leading directly into the town centre and surrounding areas.
